A Workshop on “Kitchen Ki Chemistry” was organized for school students at PGSC on January 25, 2024. The prime objective of organizing the workshop was to give better understanding of “Acids and Bases” through Hands-on activities and demonstrations . Ms. Kamalit Kaur, Deputy Education Officer, PGSC was the Resource person. Ms. Kaur also delivered a talk on "Role of chemistry in everyday life". The workshop challenged the participants to think about everyday food in a whole new way as well as helped ground some fundamental chemistry concepts in a very approachable way: by experimenting with familiar food ingredients. 46 students and teachers from 5 Schools (Jalandhar & Kapurthala) participated in the workshop.
