Stress free life leads to balanced life, time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun and the resilience to hold up pressure and meet challenges head on. Stress management starts with identifying the sources of stress in our life. All of us need to adopt the practice of 4 A’s i.e. Avoid, Alter, Accept and Adapt in our daily lives to get relief from stress. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has caused fear, worry, and stress in some people leading to irritability, unhealthy eating and sleep habits, excessive sadness, and difficulty with attention and concentration.  Fear and anxiety about a new disease and what could happen can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children. Public health actions, such as social distancing, can make people feel isolated and lonely and can increase stress and anxiety. Coping with stress in a healthy way can make us and community stronger.

Dr. Rajesh Grover, Director Science City said that elimination of stress is unrealistic, management of stress is an attainable and realistic goal that can be achieved by a number of strategies including time-management skills and overall healthy lifestyle.
